“Looking up” is a growing trend in the home renovation world. Finishing out an existing unfinished area of your home is a great way to add value at a fraction of the cost. Since you already have the walls, ceiling, and floor in place, it’s typically much less than a traditional addition.

That was the idea for this family’s home on Chester Rd. As with most teenagers, the daughter wanted a cool place for her and her friends to hang out at. So the mother decided that finishing out the extra attic space would be a good way to keep the teenagers at a safe distance.

We created the “Bonus Room” by enclosing the space with drywall, added wiring for electrical outlets and lights, added a new separate heating and air unit, added new trim, carpet, doors, and paint.

At RG Builders, whether we’re creating a mother’s dream kitchen, adding an extra space for dad’s relaxation, or creating a hang-out room for kids and teenagers, our goal is to exceed our client’s expectation.
